FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How to order cake?
We prefer to book your order first via online inquiry or simply send us an email / Facebook message so that we are sure we get all the information we need from you about your cake.
We will contact you for booking confirmation.

When placing an order, please have an idea of how big a cake you need or how many people you would like to feed, as well as the sort of style or design you have in mind. Tell us your theme, colors, and any specific design ideas you have, and then allow us to render our creativity reflecting fadgecakes® uniqueness and style.

We will also ask for detailed contact information, event information, preferred pick-up or delivery times and a filled in order form to confirm your order and block the special day for you.

How far in advance should I place my order?
We advise you to book your cake at least a month prior to your event or earlier.

The date of your event is the first thing that we need to check from our calendar. This is to ensure that we have enough time to prepare and deliver quality fadgecakes®. We take pride in our cakes and invest ample time on it; we apologize as we do not accept urgent orders.

We will contact you for booking confirmation.

Once you have a confirmed booking, we will contact you 3 days prior to your event. Mrs. Fadgecakes® will take your cake order and answer any questions you may have. She can also help you with design and flavor ideas.

Can I order a cake that I like from your website's photo gallery?
The cakes on our website were specially made for specific customers and are meant to serve as examples of what we can produce. We do not like to repeat / duplicate neither our cakes nor other cake designers. We do, however, past cakes as inspiration and reference together with other reference images and alter it for a new custom cake made just for you. Our goal is for each of our customers to have their own personal, unique cake creation! Because fadgecakes® believes … You are different!

I really like the cakes on your website, can you please tell me how much that cost?
All of our cakes are custom creations, made for a specific person or event. We cannot tell you how much a previous customer paid for their cake, because cake prices depend on many different factors like sizes, flavors and design intricacy. However, if you are interested in a similar cake and willing to provide us with some specific details about your desired cake, we would be happy to provide you with a basic price estimate. You may also email us a design of your choice and we will be happy to give you the price on that. Please contact us for more information.

Do you require a deposit for cake orders?
No. We require a cash on delivery or cash on pick up. All wedding cake orders require a person who will receive the cake at the venue and he/she must hand over the payment upon delivery.

Do you deliver or ship cakes?
Yes, we deliver cakes within the city but with a minimum amount of the order. We do not ship cake.

How do I schedule a cake tasting or design consultation?
Due to number of cakes we work on each day, we can only be available for personal meetings for wedding cakes or large event cakes that serve 100 people or more. For smaller cakes, you can contact us through email and FB messages.

We understand that some customers prefer to have a tasting before making a final decision; you can have a taste test in advance and pay the cake for the same price. All of our cake tastings are prepared, boxed and ready for pick-up at pre-arranged time.

Do you make sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan cakes?
Sorry, but we do not make any cakes that are sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan. Unfortunately, we also are unable to accomodate anyone with strict nut allergies. Allergies can be very serious and we use products (chocolate, flour, etc...) that are manufactured around nut products. But we guarantee that our cakes do not contain any pork ingredients/derivatives and we use baking utensils solely for baking cakes and never for our personal cooking.
